    Dengue: BBMP chief tests positive for dengue | Bengaluru News


    Bengaluru: BBMP chief commissioner Tushar Giri Nath has tested positive for dengue and is currently resting at home.
    Syed Sirajuddin Madani, chief health officer (public health) at BBMP, said Nath was feeling tired and feverish over the past week. “We initially attributed his symptoms to work and stress. However, when he continued to feel unwell, we decided to test him for dengue,” Madani said.Dengue cases in Bengaluru have surged significantly over the past two months, with 1,036 reported in June alone. tnn
