An upcoming film, Boy From Andaman, has been in news for pulling a great bunch of producers for the project. Richie Mehta who brought the Emmy Award winner Delhi Crime to success is behind this film as an executive producer. Janice Chua, Harman Baweja, Rick Ambrose, Bhhaskar De, and Sharmila Pinheiro are the producers spanning across the globe who will be associated with the film. Boy With Andaman will also mark Parinaz Jal’s directorial debut who is known for Fitoor and Death In The Gunj.
The film has a very lunch-boxesque premise. Two strangers share their ideas on faith and philosophy of life through a bunch of letters. The film deals with profound themes through an unlikely friendship between a tsunami survivor from Andaman and a post office worker. Makers have claimed it as a powerful script, and the star cast and release date are still under wraps.

Boy From Andaman has boarded international production house Imagine Entertainment and we can expect that they will be aiming at international film festivals with its release. The story seems like the real hero of this project, if it is handled with much sensibility and critical consideration, it could be the next big project coming out of India.
