Delhi coaching centre flooded LIVE updates: Delhi court reserves order on bail pleas of SUV driver, basement co-owners

Delhi coaching centre flooded LIVE updates: A court on Tuesday reserved its decision on the bail plea of an SUV driver and four owners of the coaching centre basement in Old Rajinder Nagar, which was flooded with rainwater, leading to the deaths of three civil services aspirants.

Judicial Magistrate Vinod Kumar reserved the order on the bail applications of driver Manuj Kathuria and basement owners Tejinder Singh, Parvinder Singh, Harvinder Singh, and Sarabjeet Singh.

"The order has been reserved for Wednesday at 4 PM," the court stated.

Kathuria is accused of driving his Force Gurkha vehicle through a rainwater-flooded street, causing the water to overflow and breach the gates of the three-story building, inundating the basement.

Rakesh Malhotra, Kathuria's advocate, sought bail, arguing that his client did not foresee the consequences nor intend to cause the incident.
