    Deadly Road Accident Kills 3 Telugu People

    Four Indians, including three Telugu Individuals, died in a deadly road accident in the state of Texas, USA. The incident occurred on Road No.75 in Anna City.

    The accident took place on Friday but was only reported much later. The deceased have been identified as Aryan Raghunath Orampati, his friend Farooq Shaik, Lokesh Palacharla, and Darshini Vasudevan (from Tamil Nadu).

    Getting into details, the four victims were linked through a carpooling app and were on their way to Bentonville. Aryan and Farookh, residents of Bentonville, were returning home after visiting Aryan’s cousin in Dallas.

    Lokesh was travelling to meet his wife and Darshana was on her way to visit her uncle in Bentonville. Darshana had completed her Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Arlington.

    Aryan’s family hails from Rayachoti but is settled in the Nizampet area of Hyderabad. His father is an industrialist. Aryan completed his Master’s in May 2024. He was asked to return home but he told his family that he would return to India after working in the US for two years.

    Farooq’s family, originally from the Guntur district, has settled in the BHEL area of Hyderabad.

    The accident occurred when a speeding truck failed to slow down and hit the rear end of the SUV carrying the victims. The accident resulted in a collision of five vehicles.

    The victims’ SUV caught fire immediately. They were trapped inside and were unable to get out of flames. Due to the intense flames, the identification of victims became tough. Eventually, police found the victims’ identities through car-pooling details.

    The families of the victims are heartbroken after hearing the news. They have requested assistance from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs to bring back the bodies of the deceased.
