Daaku Maharaaj has now started streaming on Netflix after completing its theatrical run. The film performed decently in theatres, drawing attention for its strong technical values.
Director Bobby Kolli delivered a surprise by making a far more technically superior film than expected. A major share of the credit goes to the production house and Naga Vamsi, who brought Jailer’s DOP Vijay Kartik Kannan on board for Daaku Maharaaj. Thaman’s score further elevated the film, adding to its cinematic appeal.

Interestingly, social media trends suggest that within India’s regional industries, including Hindi, the strongest appreciation is coming from Malayalam OTT viewers. They are showering the film with praise after watching it on Netflix.

Social media is flooded with positive responses, especially from Malayalees, with some even suggesting that Mammootty should remake the film in Malayalam.
The overwhelming response from the Kerala audience after the OTT release is noteworthy.
