India Covid Live: India reported 188 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

India added 268 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases increased to 3,552, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday. The Covid case tally was recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,77,915).
The death count stands at 5,30,698 with two fatalities with one reconciled by Kerala and one death reported from Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, the data updated at 8 am stated.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.11 per cent while the weekly positivity was pegged at 0.17 per cent, the ministry said.

Three new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Maharashtra’s Thane district, taking its infection tally to 7,47,397, a health official said on Thursday. The latest infections were reported on Wednesday, he said.
There are currently 11 active COVID-19 cases in the district, which comes under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, he said.
India recorded 188 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 4,46,77,647.
The Covid-related death count stood at 5,30,696 as no new death reported in the last 24 hours.
