Nagarjuna is back in the spotlight—and this time, it’s not in a Telugu film. He’s part of Coolie, a massive gangster action drama starring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The film is scheduled to release on August 14, 2025. It marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Lokesh. Though Lokesh is known for his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), Coolie is confirmed to be a standalone film.

The makers recently released a 100-day countdown glimpse. In just a few seconds, Nagarjuna became the surprise highlight. Lokesh introduced the cast through stylish over-the-shoulder shots.
Nagarjuna appears walking across a port and adjusting his hair. That short moment was enough to set social media on fire.
