Vivek Agnihotri is known for making headlines for his films and candid interviews. This time though, he came forward raising a major problem in the industry.
Mukesh Chhabra, a casting director in Bollywood, recently tweeted against the excess of managers in the film industry. Agnihotri responded to the post by sharing his experience from last week where he fired a lead actor due to their manager’s arrogant behavior.

The Kashmir Files director revealed that the manager thought he could be like this just because he was from a “Huge Celeb’s Star Kid Talent Agency.” He further expressed frustration over these middlemen claiming they have “destroyed more careers than made it.”
Earlier this year, Agnihotri revealed that his next film The Delhi Files is under production and will release next year. However, by his own admission, the film doesn’t have any big stars in it.

Thus, the Star Kid in question could’ve been the lead for his other film Parva. The director announced the three-part epic franchise late last year but never revealed the official cast or release date for it.
There can only be speculations about who the star kid could be at this point. But Agnihotri and Chhabra’s comments underline the increasing issue of intermediaries plaguing the industry.
