Roja was the sitting Minister when she faced the election this Summer and lost in Nagari with a huge margin of 45,000 votes.

Right on the voting day, Roja gave an interview to the Sakshi Channel and claimed that own party leaders were working against her and the defeat was written on the wall. But the margin of 45,000 votes is nothing but a shocker.
The other day, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review meeting of the party in the erstwhile Chittoor district.

Finally, Jagan acted on the complaint of Roja. The KJ Kumar Couple – KJ Kumar (Secretary of State YSR Congress Trade Union), and KJ Shanthi (Former Ediga Corporation Chairperson) were suspended from the party for anti-party activities.
Roja alleged that the couple worked for TDP’s Gali Bhanu Prakash’s victory despite being in YSR Congress and while enjoying the nominated posts offered by the party.

Roja has been complaining about the couple for a long time but they have the support of another Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and so, Jagan did not touch them.
Finally, he acted upon them. This is like a consolation prize which would not give any happiness to Roja.
Meanwhile, Roja is completely out of her constituency and is staying in Chennai more these days. She is also being politically inactive. There were rumors that she would withdraw from Telugu politics and try her luck in Tamil Nadu politics.
Probably, that is the reason why Jagan acted at least now. It looks like she is okay to continue in YSR Congress for now.
