While the good news led to a lineup of best wishes from well-known faces of the industry, stand-up comedian Banti Banerjee’s comments on the same have now received a negative response on different platforms.
Banti appeared in an episode of India’s Got Latent where she referred to the news of Deepika becoming a mother by saying that the actress will now understand the meaning of depression.

Banti also stated that the depression has emerged out of a breakup, adding that she is the mother of another two-year-old child.
While Deepika is yet to share a response to the comments, social media platforms were flooded with criticism from the public. People specifically expressed their frustration towards Banti for saying such inappropriate words.

Users slammed Banti for using references to depression since it has left a negative impact on the lives of many people. A few others used the word disgusting to criticize Banti.
People even expressed shock after witnessing that a section of the public was laughing at everything that was said by Banti.

Participation in such shows won’t bring any kind of benefits for anyone and people who join them just try to act funny and do not bring anything unique out of himself or herself.
