This year’s Dussehra box office clash is shaping up to be intense, with multiple big films eyeing a release during the festive season. Social media is abuzz with discussions about the potential showdown between Prabhas’ Raja Saab and Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1.
Kantara Chapter 1, a prequel to the 2022 blockbuster, has already been confirmed for an October 2 release. With the first film becoming a nationwide sensation, expectations are sky-high for this installment.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Raja Saab, Prabhas’ horror-comedy directed by Maruthi, might shift its release to October. Though the makers had earlier locked April 10, the film is yet to be completed, making a Dussehra release more likely.
Adding to the Dussehra rush, Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Thaandavam is officially set for September 25, aiming to continue the success of Akhanda.
