Things are heating up at the box office for Independence Day. This year we are going to witness a clash of 3 highly anticipated films at the box office on 15 August. Keeping up with the patriotic spirit of the occasion, we have Vedaa starring Sharvari and John Abraham. Directed by Nikhil Advani this film tells the story of a girl fighting against the unjust system, it promises the right blend of patriotism.

Khel Khel Mein by Mudassar Aziz brings Fardeen Khan back on the big screen after 14 years. Akshay Kumar will be seen in an ensemble cast with stars like Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal. Fans are excited to witness Akshay Kumar’s much missed comic avatar.
The biggest performer amongst these films is anticipated to be Stree 2. The fanfare around Stree, the first film in the franchise, has kept the fans eagerly looking out for its sequel. After all, the long wait will be over on 15 August. The recent trailer and music releases have added to the appeal of the film. Although, nothing decisive can be said before the official release of these films and we might just be shocked by unexpected box office results.
