Ahead of the release of Devara on the 27th of this month, Director Koratala Siva came to the media for the first time. It makes him the first from Devara’s core team to come before Telugu media.
Koratala delved into the World of Devara and also addressed about the controversies around his last film, Acharya.

“I have no pressure of Acharya whatsoever. No doubt I was more careful. Luckily, I do not have time to sit and feel. I started the work of Devara Motion Poster on the third day of Acharya’s release. But after I failed, it goes without saying I worked more carefully,” Koratala said.
He also said people misinterpreted Chiranjeevi’s speeches and alleged that he targeted him.

“There is nothing like that. People misinterpreted Chiranjeevi garu. Immediately after the release, Chiranjeevi called me and said ‘You will bounce back hard Siva’. We do not have any problems,” he said.
He also said that people wrongly interpreted his statement in Devara’s interview (with Vishwak Sen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda. In the interview, Koratala said the world would be a beautiful place if everyone did their job without fingering others’ work. People thought Koratala was targeting Chiranjeevi for Acharya’s failure.

M9 News asked him about the complete attention paid by social media to him.
“I am a person who can not work under pressure. I am not taking that. But I have a message for Social Media. It is a beautiful platform. You can troll us, you can comment, you can criticize, and you can also make memes. But do not create hate. Live and Let Live! This is a small world. The same producers and directors will work with all heroes. Everybody has to live,” Koratala said.
We also asked him about how he is going to pay back for all the support NTR gave during his tough times.
“Nobody can guarantee anything. The result is not in our hands. But we all have given our 100%. We put in our fullest efforts till the last minute. I think it came out very well. NTR is my very close friend. He is like my brother. He is someone who believes in scripts. He is never into calculations at least for me,” Koratala Siva said.
