Vijayasai Reddy had submitted his resignation as Rajya Sabha MP and the Vice-Chairman has accepted it too.

Due to the strength of the Assembly, the seat will go to the TDP. Neither the YSR Congress nor the remaining parties have the strength to win that seat.
Chandrababu Naidu can give the seat to the allies like how he gave a seat to the BJP (R Krishnaiah) recently.

But then, it will be a big strategic mistake if he decides to give it.
There are rumors that the BJP is behind Sai Reddy’s resignation to emerge as a big Political Power in Andhra Pradesh.

They say the BJP will take Sai Reddy’s seat and will give it to Chiranjeevi to appease the Kapu Community.
With Pawan Kalyan already on their side, and if Chiranjeevi is also into the BJP, the party can emerge as a Major Political Power with the support of the Kapu Community, which has a huge presence in the AP Population.
We do not know if this theory is right but Chandrababu should not help their cause even if it is true.
Any Political Party can aspire to grow in a state. But it is not the duty of Chandrababu to help everyone.
Sai Reddy did not resign to help TDP, but Public Mandate favored TDP. Let it be that way!
If BJP wants to grow in AP using Chiranjeevi, it has Twenty-Seven states in the country (excluding AP), it can nominate Chiranjeevi from any of those states.
From Assembly seats to MP Seats to Cabinet Berths and to the recent Rajya Sabha seat for Krishnaiah, Chandrababu always gave BJP more than its worth.
Janasena was to get a Rajya Sabha Berth last time but BJP grabbed it. Chandrababu had to offer a Cabinet Berth to Nagababu as compensation.
So, it is better for Naidu to take the RS Berth for TDP itself.
If this is also given to the BJP, it will send a very wrong signal to the Public.
