Anil Ravipudi had a new theatrical release this Sankranthi in the form of Sankranthiki Vastunnam. This film is projected to be the best performing film this Sankranthi season.

In this context, the discussion has already started about Anil’s upcoming film with Megastar Chiranjeevi which is next on the list for Chiru. However, things will not be straightforward for this film by any stretch of imagination.
Firstly, Anil is already facing countless complaints of “cringe” content with regard to his films. Though this trash talk is confined only to social media for now, Anil is still a in the epicentre of trolls when it comes to social media.

Once the film with Chiranjeevi actually starts to happen, Anil will witness elevated trash talk.
Adding to that, Chiru’s own films in recent times including Bhola Shankar, Acharya, and even parts of Waltair Veerayya (regardless of box office numbers) faced complaints of cringe content. The film with Anil will face such complaints right from the outset.

Anil will have to outdo himself in order to counter the social media negativity. He might not be too bothered if he is working with Venkatesh for Sankranthi films, but when he’s working with Chiru, the social media model is going to be different.
Both Anil and Chiranjeevi will have to be on the top of their game if they’re to forge a successful bonding at the box office once their film comes out. Bering the “cringe” commentary on social media is going to be a task and a half.
That being said, this project is going to be a hugely prospective one for Chiranjeevi if it arrives during the Sankranti season. It could very well provide him with some respite at the box office, which is pretty much the need of the hour for him now.
