OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT which was recently introduced for iOS users on the App Store now gets an updated user interface along with the Bing integration for the ChatGPT Plus subscribers. The company has also updated the history search, and now the users can get to the same point just by tapping on the conversation.

Furthermore, OpenAI informed that Plus subscribers can access the new features section in Settings, pick the GPT 4 model, and then browse Bing from the drop-down list. With this step, the corporation hopes to assist consumers in finding answers to questions about current events and other details. The company also stated that if the browsing option is turned off, the AI chatbot’s knowledge will be limited to 2021.

“Plus users can now use Browsing to get comprehensive answers and current insights on events and information that extend beyond the model’s original training data,” the company mentioned in the changelog of the app.

“To try it out, enable Browsing in the ‘New Features’ section of your app settings. Then select GPT-4 in the model switcher and choose “Browse with Bing” in the drop-down”.

Web users could previously use the browsing option, which was also recently launched. The company’s goal is to assist consumers with a variety of tasks, including research using real-time information and figures.

For iOS and iPadOS users, OpenAI recently unveiled a number of interesting enhancements to the ChatGPT app. The ‘Drag and Drop’ capability is one major improvement that enables users to quickly move certain messages from the app to other programs with a drag-and-drop motion. The app’s usability is improved by this functionality, which also encourages smooth integration with other tools and workflows.
