I am saying go for more children. Right now, government employees have maternity leaves only for two children. From now on, we will give maternity leaves for all the children borne, the AP CM said.
We will provide other facilities too. Depending on how many children are studying, we will provide ‘Talliki Vandanam’ to all, shared Babu.

Babu has been vocal about more than two children policy for some time now. Like his counterpart Tamil Nadu CM Stalin, Babu too has been pushing forth the importance and need for having more than two children.
He even changed the rule that those with more than two children cannot contest local polls, in August 2024. Now he is all for making more babies as the southern states have lost out due to strict implementation of ‘hum do, hamare do’ concept.

The cause for concern is the delimitation process that will happen after 2026 and the southern states will be penalized for having lesser population as against states like UP, Rajasthan, Bihar and Jharkhand that have high populations.
