2024 was not just a memorable year for the TDP and it’s cadre because of that 164/175 result, the year saw the return of Chandrababu Naidu – The Kingmaker.
After two consecutive terms of unanimous victory, the Narendra Modi Government fell marginally short of the required majority this time.

The Simple Majority in the Lok Sabha is 272. BJP is only 240 seats in the house and is majorly dependent on the TDP and the JDU for its survival. With the allies, NDA is currently at 293.
Naidu has become the Kingmaker once again. There is so much of National Media focus on him and then so much of respect in all NDA meetings for obvious reasons.

TDP admirers are so happy about this development and are feeling that fortune has favoured Naidu bringing him respect at the fag end of his Political career..
The dependency is also bringing some special assistance to Andhra Pradesh. In the last budget, there was 15000 Crore Assistance to Amaravati, funds for the Polavaram Project, the Vishakapatnam – Chennai Industrial Corridor and Hyderabad – Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, and a Special Package for All Rayalaseema Districts, Prakasam, and all Uttarandhra Districts for Andhra Pradesh.

It was Naidu who did not press for more cabinet berths even though he has a chance and is channelizing that leverage to bring more funds to the state.
