Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu took a very brave decision to suspend his party MLA Koneti Adimulam who has been facing allegations of sexual harassment.
Naidu wanted to send a positive message on such issues after Jagan Mohan Reddy ignored many such complaints on his party leaders for so long.

In just two hours of the complaint, Adimulam was suspended from the party.
Naidu ordered a detailed report on the issue and may even have Adimulam resign if the charges are proven.

In such a case, Satyavedu may go for a by-election. But then, Naidu is not backing off.
Sources say that Naidu may announce a new incharge for Satyavedu once the Vijayawada returns to normalcy.

There are chances of appointing SCV Naidu, the former MLA of Srikalahasti as the in-charge of Satyavedu.
He joined TDP from the YSR Congress before the elections expecting the Srikalahasti ticket. But Naidu could not say no to Bojjala Sudhir.
SCV Naidu has good relations in the constituency and even the local TDP cadre are in favor of him. He will be facing the by-election if it becomes imminent.
If at all, Satyavedu goes by-election, it will increase Chandrababu’s image by leaps and bounds.
It is not easy to sacrifice a leader and go for a by-election. Jagan ignored such complaints for so long and paid the price. Naidu, however, wants to use this issue to send a good message to society that TDP does not tolerate such nonsense.
