Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu addressed the first Collectors’ meeting after taking charge. They discussed the policy matters and Government priorities for the next one year in all aspects of Governance.
Speaking there, Chandrababu Naidu said, “I promised the Public to bring back the Chandrababu Naidu of 1995. But he did not come out yet. Along with me, the officials should also roll their sleeves”.

He also said he would begin ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీలు (Surprise Visits) very soon.
“I would visit Anganwadi centers as well as Slums,” Naidu told them.

In those days when Government offices were known for their indiscipline and massive corruption, Chandrababu Naidu used to visit offices randomly and reprimand the officials who came late and who did not perform their duties.
There used to be instant actions. Back then, Director Shankar inspired the famous One-Day CM Story for Oke Okkadu from Chandrababu Naidu.

Naidu is planning to do the same again.
Such visits improved the image of Naidu in the people but then, Government officials turned averse to him and the Telugu Desam Party.
But then, things improved a lot in Government offices in recent years. So, these Visits may not trigger so much opposition from them.
At the same time, Naidu knows how to make them work without being too harsh and straightforward.
