CBN’s Grandson Devansh Sets A World Record

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s grandson and Minister Nara Lokesh’s son, Nara Devansh, set a world record in Chess for the “fastest checkmate solver – 175 puzzles.”

He has been officially certified by the World Book of Records, London. The certificate reads, “Devansh has been included for solving an impressive total of 175 checkmate puzzles from the book 5334 Problems and Games by László Polgár in 11 minutes and 59 seconds on 18 December 2024.”

Meanwhile, Devansh set up another two world records recently. He completed the 7-disc Tower of Hanoi in just 1 minute 43 seconds. He arranged a total of nine chess boards in just five minutes.

The Nara family was elated by this sensational record set by Devansh. Nara Lokesh said that he witnessed Devansh solving the puzzles with laser-sharp focus and expressed pride in his son’s achievement. Lokesh said that Devansh loves this sport a lot and got inspired by the historic events in the game held in the past.

Lokesh mentioned that Devansh trained 5-6 hours daily for this event. He thanked Devansh’s Chess Academy for training him well. Devansh’s coach, Rajashekar Reddy, also praised the kid and called him a dynamic student. Representatives of the World Book of Records London, have also been impressed by Devansh’s skills.
