The Tollywood box office blew rather hot and cold through the course of the year. We had two superstar films this year in the form of Guntur Kaaram and Kalki.

While Kalki was a Rs 1100 crore grosser, Guntur Kaaram underfired and ended up moderate at the box office. The cumulative gross could be in the range of Rs 1300 crore.
Now, for the remainder of 2024, we have three superstar films and they are Devara, Pushpa, and Game Changer.

Of the three films, Pushpa 2 has the best box office prospects, thanks to the sequel advantage and the substantial pull it will have in Hindi. This film is proposed to be the next Rs 1000 crore grosser from Tollywood.
In case Pushpa 2 does Rs 1000 crore, then the Tollywood superstar box office tally of 2024 will hit Rs 2300 crore in total.

Then, Devara and Game Changer will have to do Rs 700 crore between them to take the tally to Rs 3000+ crore which is a considerably big number by all means.
While the majority of the weight will have to born by Pushpa 2, being a sequel, if Devara and Game Changer can also chip in big time, which they are likely to do, the Tollywood superstar box office tally will hit Rs 3000 crore which means this is a very good year.
