The other day, there were Media Reports that Pawan Kalyan went to Delhi to get a Rajya Sabha Berth for his brother, Naga Babu.
Three Rajya Sabha Seats have fallen vacant due to the Resignation of the YSR Congress members. All three will go to TDP+ as the YSR Congress does not have the strength to win.

There are speculations that one of the three seats will be given to the BJP but Pawan Kalyan wants to have it for Janasena.
After the speculations went rife, Naga Babu this morning posted on X saying “ఢిల్లీ వెళ్లిన purpose స్వార్థ ప్రయోజనాలకోసం కాదు, మన రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాలకోసం. అలాంటి నాయకుడికోసం నా లైఫ్ ని ఇవ్వటానికి నేనెప్పుడూ సిద్ధంగా ఉంటాను. I dont have any political ambitions other than to serve my leader”.

Saying such things is common in politics. People will always say they are not interested in positions but no one will refuse to take them if they are given.
If Naga Babu is given this opportunity, this will be the first time the Janasena Party will have representation in the Upper House.

But is he the best fit for it?
Naga Babu was supposed to contest from the Anakapalli Parliament. He made all arrangements and even shifted to Anakapalli for a few days. But at the last minute, there were some seat arrangement issues in the alliance.
Naga Babu had to sacrifice the seat for the BJP. And the Saffron Party fielded CM Ramesh from the seat.
Ethically, Naga Babu should be given this berth. But then, there should be a capable seasoned political leader to handle this responsibility.
During the start of the YSR Congress’s journey, when the party got the first Rajya Sabha berth, Jagan gave it to Vijaysai Reddy.
Sai Reddy liaisoned for the party in Delhi and was successful in cutting a deal with the BJP High Command.
He was able to delay the proceedings in Jagan’s cases and also managed to create a rift between the TDP and BJP between 2014 and 2019.
The first Rajya Sabha MP of Janasena should be someone who can increase the image of the party in Delhi and better the ties with the BJP and other National Parties.
Sai Reddy was also a political novice but then, he was a shrewd businessman and had the experience of closely working with YS Rajasekhara Reddy. His professional experience also helped him in the successful liasoning in Delhi.
In the case of Janasena, maybe a seasoned politician should be given this chance.
