The other day, Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar visited Hyderabad. Whenever a VIP visits any city, the Public Representatives of that State and the Main officials receive him/her at the Airport.
The main leaders of their party will also get a spot. There is a Protocol Department which finalizes the list for every big VIP. And the list is very strictly maintained.

But then, Vijayasai Reddy sneaked into the list the other day and welcomed the Vice-president.
This is really strange. Sai Reddy had resigned for his Rajya Sabha Membership and is a Former MP now. There is no way he can get into the Protocol List.

This has triggered the speculations about Vijayasai Reddy joining the BJP.
Sai Reddy announced Political Retirement earlier but it looks like the plan is different.

If Sai Reddy joins the BJP, it will be alarm bells ringing for TDP and Janasena.
In all probability, the Rumors about rift between Sai Reddy and Jagan are farce and it is more about Jagan sending him to the BJP to save themselves from cases.
Last time, when Jagan is in trouble in the Opposition, he sent Vijayasai Reddy to Rajya Sabha. Sai Reddy did a fantastic job in liaisoning with the BJP to slow down their cases. He also played an instrumental role in foiling the alliance between TDP and BJP in 2018.
He saved the party from YS Vivekananda Reddy‘s case as well by managing the Saffron Party.
Now he will do the same. These times more cases will come haunting Jagan for the last five years rule. So Sai Reddy will broker deal with the BJP to help Jagan tide over this five years period carefully.
Forget about the cases, it will be a big shame for Chandrababu if his alliance partner admits his rival into the party despite the fact that the BJP is dependent on the TDP numbers for its survival in Delhi.
We will have to see if he can put his foot hard on the ground and say BJP can not allow his rivals.
