Nandamuri Balakrishna is gearing up for the release of his latest movie Daaku Maharaaj, which is set to compete in the Sankranti race. Last year, he didn’t have any release., so there is an anticipation to see Balakrishna in theaters.
The recently released trailer has received a decent response. The trailer, while intriguing, held back on revealing much content, possibly to maintain suspense, which led to a muted response.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, this movie promises to showcase Balayya in a different avatar, and trade analysts believe that it will achieve strong opening numbers compared to his past films.

For a senior hero, Balakrishna has registered good box office numbers with his recent films.
His film Veera Simha Reddy set a career-best opening on its first day, collecting 25 crores share in Telugu states, marking the highest opening in his career, according to trade pundits.

His other film Akhanda in 2021 follows with 15 crores share, and Bhagavanth Kesari also had a good opening, earning 14 crores share on day one.
After a flop patch which lasted till Ruler in 2019, Balakrishna has been able to impress not just masses but also family audience, which is evident from his box office performance.
With Daaku Maharaaj, trade analysts are hoping for a similar success. The film’s impressive theatrical business in the Telugu states has further boosted confidence in its potential.
Considering the current records, Veera Simha Reddy remains the highest opener among Balayya’s films. However, the burning question now is whether Daaku Maharaaj can surpass these figures.
Despite fierce competition from other big films during the Sankranti season, Balakrishna’s strong fan following among the masses and the potential for positive word-of-mouth should help the film do good business at the box office.
