The race to land the female lead role in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri seemed very tight. Almost all the young lead heroines were speculated for the same.
Ultimately the competition narrowed down to Ananya Panday and Sharvari. Karan Johar and Kartik Aryan have finally decided on the lucky lady.

It will be Ananya Panday, with her expanding grasp amongst the youth, the makers felt that she is the best choice. Although Sharvari was definitely in consideration, rumour has it that Kartik Aryan has promised her Pati Patni Aur Woh 2.
Kartik and Ananya’s jodi has already been tested on the screen in Pati Patni Aur Woh and they performed well. The excitement of the fans have increased with this news.

Ananya has yet to reach her utmost stardom but she has shown much improvements, even the nepo kid tag is also less associated with her now. Her films like Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and CTRL were appreciated by fans and critics.
What she needs is a big-end production and this might be her chance. Kartik has also become very popular with his recent releases and his influence might help her gain much hype in the box office too.

Earlier, during Christmas, Karan gifted the fans with the official announcement of the film. Kartik and Karan have also resolved their dispute from Dostana 2.
The director on board, Sameer Vidhwans, has already worked with Kartik in Satya Prem Ki Katha. Fans are eager for more updates and hope that the film delivers it’s promise of the biggest romance of 2026.
