Mahomes and the Chiefs are now 11-1 this season, with their only defeat coming at the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.

Mahomes surpassed Hall of Famer Len Dawson in the all-time touchdown pass charts on Friday, further cementing his legacy as arguably the greatest Chiefs player in history.
The 29-year-old is already their all-time leader in passing yards after racking up over 31,000 and counting, while he is now just eight wins shy of passing Dawson again to become their winningest quarterback.
After the win over the Raiders, his Chiefs record stands at 85-23.
Nevertheless, it very well could have been 84-24 had Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell not made a disastrous error with just over 20 seconds to play at Arrowhead on Friday.
While trailing 19-17 on a third-and-three, Las Vegas had a golden opportunity to get themselves into field-goal range and snatch a famous win over the back-to-back Super Bowl champions on their own turf.
Yet when the ball was snapped, O’Connell was somehow looking elsewhere as it came flying in his direction, meaning he fumbled it and allowed Kansas City to secure a game-winning turnover.
