BRS has been losing steam in Telangana after losing the 2023 Assembly Elections. 10 of its MLAs have already defected to the Congress Party, further weakening it in the state.
On the other side, after winning the elections in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu focused on reviving the Telugu Desam Party in Telangana as well.

He also promised to visit Telangana every month and hold constant discussions with the party leaders to reconstruct the party in Telangana from the surface level.
Now, if the ongoing reports are anything to go by, Telangana TDP is going to get a huge boost as two BRS MLAs and one senior BRS leader are planning to switch to TDP.

Former Minister and Medchal MLA, Malla Reddy and his son-in-law and Malkajgiri MLA, Marri Rajashekar Reddy are reportedly planning to join TDP. Malla Reddy will meet Chandrababu Naidu at his Hyderabad residence this afternoon.
Apart from these two, we hear that former Mayor Teegala Krishna Reddy is also expected to join TDP. Both Malla Reddy and Krishna Reddy are former members of TDP and maintain a cordial relationship with Chandrababu Naidu.

With the TDP in alliance with the BJP, Malla Reddy and Marri Rajasheekar Reddy’s addition will further bolster the BJP-TDP partnership in the Telangana Assembly.
Amid these speculations, Malla Reddy’s meeting with Chandrababu Naidu has gained notable attention on social media.
