TV5 Chairman BR Naidu has been appointed as the TTD Chairman.
The other day, the media fraternity felicitated BR Naidu for getting this coveted post. During his address there, BR Naidu revealed how he got the post.

“People are saying that I got this post for supporting Chandrababu Naidu. But I have been a TDP supporter for a long time. I came to Hyderabad in 1971. I was the one who formed the NTR Fans Association for the first time. I was the General Secretary back then. In 1982, I joined TDP after NTR’s call and worked for the party,” BR Naidu said.
“I did not wear any shirt except Yellow Shirt for Fifteen years. I worked without any posts at the party. Later I started a News Channel. I was subjected to so much harassment in the last five years. There were attempts to kill me. Central Agencies also warned me. I bought a second-hand bullet-proof car and started traveling in it,” he added.

BR Naidu said he met Chandrababu Naidu one and a half years ago and asked for the TTD Post.
“I told him how I worked for the party without expecting any post. I told him how becoming the TTD Chairman is my lifetime desire. He thought for a moment and said ‘You deserve it’. I did extensive research on TTD subjects and came up with a roadmap. I will definitely make my mark on TTD,” BR Naidu promised.

“I told the officials recently. I am someone who will not make any mistake and will not spare if there is any,” he assured.
BR Naidu is saying that he got the post for not supporting TDP but for working for TDP since the party formation.
BR Naidu’s initial decisions at the TTD got so much of applause. He took many decisions like sending people of other religions out of TTD, Modernization of Annaprasadam equipment, improving Laddu quality, using AI to complete darshan in 2-3 hours, Better amenities for the devotees, etc.
If these decisions are implemented in letter and spirit, BR Naidu will go down as one of the best Chairmans the Devasthanam ever had.
