Salman Khan fans were on cloud nine after several sources reported that Atlee will be working with Salman Khan in his next project, which promised to be a period saga featuring Salman in a prominent role.
However, their expectations and feelings were crushed when Atlee chose Allu Arjun as a replacement for Salman Khan after no production house was ready to invest in the project with Salman in it.

Salman fans are constantly calling out Atlee and Sun Pictures and running several boycott campaigns over the internet for misuse of Salman Khan just to create hype and drama. Fans also claim that Atlee promised to work with Salman Khan after his Baby John cameo but failed to do so and chose Allu Arjun instead.
