Bollywood movie director Ahmed Khan drives to watch Batman movie in his Batmobile

Bollywood actors, directors, and their expensive car collections are subjects that we frequently feature on our website. While most of them possess costly cars, only a few are genuine enthusiasts. Ahmed Khan, a popular Bollywood director, is known for a truly unique car in his garage – a Batmobile that he gifted to his wife on her birthday. In addition to directing movies like “Baaghi” and “Heropanti,” Ahmed Khan has also served as a judge on several reality shows. Here, we have an old video in which the director can be seen driving his custom-built Batmobile to watch a Batman movie with his wife.

The video was shared by Viral Bhayani on his YouTube channel. According to the video, Ahmed Khan was driving his Batmobile to a mall in Mumbai to watch the Batman movie. We can clearly observe Ahmed Khan driving the Batmobile, with his wife seated in the co-passenger seat. The Batmobile seen in the video is inspired by Michael Keaton’s Batman film, which was released in 1989. Every superhero movie fan knows how crucial the Batmobile is to the movie; it is considered a character in the Batman series of films.

Whenever a new Batman movie is announced, especially for DC fans, excitement ensues because they get to see a new Batmobile as well. This Batmobile is not made in India; its detailing and features are quite exceptional. It originated from the USA and was assembled in India, a process that took about 8 months to complete. Gotham Motors, a USA-based brand, manufactures these customized Batmobiles. In India, Mumbai-based Executive ModCar Trendz assembled the vehicle for Ahmed Khan. The Batmobile is powered by a 4.7-liter petrol engine with twin turbochargers, delivering a maximum power of 463 Bhp and a peak torque of 700 Nm. It certainly produces the iconic V8 burble. The video does not show the interior of the Batmobile.

    Ahmed Khan’s custom made Batmobile

According to reports, Ahmed Khan spent approximately Rs 40 lakh on this custom-made Batmobile. Popular Youtuber ‘Flying Beast’ has also visited Mr. Khan and his wife to check out the custom-built BatMobile. Here’s a video of that.

Michael Keaton’s Batmobile appeared in two movies: “The Batman” and “Batman Returns.” Online reports suggest that there were originally two Batmobiles created for the movie. The first one was based on a Chevrolet Impala, with its engine sourced from Chevrolet, featuring a V8. The second Batmobile was based on an Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. The most recent Batman movie, which featured Robert Pattinson as Batman, also had a Batmobile, which was actually a heavily modified 1969 model Dodge Charger muscle car.

Most of the gadgets offered with Michael Keaton’s Batmobile were functional, including the afterburner, which could shoot flames for 15 seconds. Ahmed Khan is not the sole individual in India who owns a Batmobile; billionaire businessman Adar Poonawalla also has a custom-made Batmobile in his garage. He acquired one of these for his son, and this Batmobile is based on a Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury sedan.
