2024 was undoubtedly a bad year for Bollywood and we have now entered a new year, where there is a long list of films scheduled to arrive on the big screen.
However, the list is missing the name of a superstar, and that is Shah Rukh Khan. Back in 2023, Bollywood was able to get back on its feet only because of this man since he delivered blockbusters like Pathaan and Jawan.

This year, many films are expected to do well in terms of box office numbers. It also includes Salman Khan’s Sikandar, whose teaser has already received a fantastic response from the audience.
2025 will be another year where Bollywood will go through a test to deliver hits without being inspired by the collections made by any of SRK’s films.

This is a tough job considering that audiences are looking for some great content and it remains to be seen if the scripts of the upcoming films are strong enough to keep the audiences engaged.
Notably, the public has to wait until 2026 to witness SRK on the big screen. He will start shooting for King this year and this will be followed by Pathaan 2 and Tiger vs. Pathaan.
SRK left a good example in 2023 with two of his films which featured certain elements that could appeal to both single-screen and multiplex audiences. However, it seems like certain filmmakers do not want to create something that would be accepted by the public.
It is the best time for production companies to hire good writers and start working on films that will be remembered forever instead of making something that is only loved by them.
