The Malayalam movie Premalu, which was released earlier this year starring Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju and directed by Girish A. D., was a tremendous success and has acquired more than 136 crores in the worldwide box office collections.
After the grand success of the Premalu movie, there is a strong buzz that the sequel of this movie is going to happen, and also, again, it will be produced by Fahadh Faasil. But then there isn’t any talk about the sequel.

Also, after the blockbuster success of the Premalu movie, Naslen and Girish A. D again joined hands for a movie, which is I Am Kathalan, it was released a few weeks ago and also has acquired positive responses from the audiences.
Now in a recent interview, Girish A. D has confirmed that Premalu 2 is going to happen, and the script for the sequel is currently in development. Also, the sequel is going to have a huge budget and will have more comedy than Part 1.

This update from the director about the sequel is now trending on social media, and for this, people are now sharing their expectations, also requesting the director not to force fit the comedies and let it be natural like Part 1.
As per speculations, the shooting of this movie is going to be started in early 2025. Let us see whether what Girish A. D. and Naslen are going to deliver us in Premalu 2.
