The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has issued notices saying that the price hike for Sankranthi big movies be limited to 10 days.
The court looked into the case following a PIL with regards to the earlier decision of 14 day ticket price hike. The High Court issued judgement post hearing, which is actually a blessing in disguise for the makers.

However, the High Court decision is appropriate as the films – Game Changer and Daku Maharaj – will get a 10 day window where they can sell tickets at high prices.
In fact, wanting a 14-day window sounds a bit greedy on the part of film-makers. The HC decision makes sense as the prices will now be in control or accessible to audiences post Sankranti.

Sankranti is festive time and fans don’t mind splurging on their demi-god heroes. But those who go to watch the films post festival, would like to watch at regular prices and the decision will be lauded by such audiences.
Game Changer is a big budget film from Dil Raju directed by Shankar starring Ram Charan. Meanwhile, Daku Maharaj directed by Bobby Kolli stars Balakrishna in the lead.
