BJP Got Pawan Kalyan’s Weakness!

Janasena President Pawan Kalyan is unusually soft towards the BJP. Pawan Kalyan criticized the BJP bitterly before the 2019 elections for going back on the Special Status Promise. After the disastrous outing in 2019, Pawan Kalyan immediately allied with the BJP.

Since then, he has become a big admirer of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Admiration is fine but Pawan Kalyan has become so soft in the crucial seat sharing as well.

Going into the details, the alliance has finalized its candidates for the by-elections to the three vacant Rajya Sabha seats from the state. Two of these three seats have been decided for the TDP and the other for the BJP.

Janasena is the second biggest party in this alliance. Naturally, it should have a second chance after the TDP.

In fact, Pawan Kalyan wanted the seat for his brother, Naga Babu, and went to Delhi to convince the BJP High Command but they did not agree.

Pawan Kalyan and Janasena supporters were happy with how the Union Ministers received him in Delhi and with the Dinner hosted by the Vice-President of India. But BJP successfully grabbed a seat that is rightfully Janasena’s.

It happened in the Assembly Elections as well.

Janasena was supposed to contest in 24 MLA seats and 3 Parliament seats. But then, BJP arm-twisted Pawan Kalyan and grabbed three MLA seats and one parliament seat. Naga Babu himself had to sacrifice Anakapalli MP seat.

But then, Pawan Kalyan and his supporters were happy about PM Modi praising him in the Election Meetings.

After the elections, in the NDA meeting, the PM said, “Yeh Pawan nahi hai. Andhi hai.” (He is not wind, he is a storm).

That was enough for them and all the arm-twisting was forgotten.

Until and unless Pawan Kalyan stays firm, BJP will continue its arm-twisting. BJP seems to have gotten Pawan Kalyan’s weakness.
