Women are taking huge strides in all fields and the political parties are at the forefront to entice their women base.
Today, the rural women and women in Tier 1,2,3 cities are clear about their priorities and want economic growth and independence, thanks to technological reach.

Given this scenario, just about all parties, national and regional, are coming up with politically correct statements to ensure their women voter base increases.
If we take the instance of national party BJP, the saffron party has just elected Rekha Gupta as the CM of Delhi to appease its large women base. In fact, it was one of the primary calculation apart from the unquestionable skills of Rekha Gupta.

Coming to BRS, the party head KCR has just announced in his executive committee meeting that they will reserve 53 seats for women. Already Kavita is an active member of the party who once got the women of Telangana together with her Bathukamma celebrations.
Not to be left behind is Telangana Congress. CM Revanth Reddy only today announced that women are top priority on their list. He said his goal is to make the women’s groups stronger. He said he aimed at making 1 crore women crorepatis. He underscored the need for women groups to grow financially.

The party’s might have diverging political agendas, but they all have a common agenda – to target and get the educated city women and the social media savvy rural women into their party fold.
As of December 31, 2024, India had 707,081,685 women. And all parties want a share in the pie!
