Biggest Netflix Flops: Huge 300 Cr Controversy!

Vashu Bhagnani is a well known producer of Hindi film industry. His son Jackky Bhagnani is an actor and producer, he had been in news for his marriage with Rakul Preet Singh.

Now the famed producer has appeared in the news because of a controversy with Netflix. The head of the Hindi film licensing division of Netflix was summoned for a 6 hour interrogation related to this case.

It all started when Netflix secured the rights from Vashu to show 3 of his films. These were Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue and Hero No. 1.

The producer filed a complaint that the famous OTT platform paid him only 60 crore but the contract was of 300 crore according to the agreement. He has been under a massive loss and the Netflix team paid no attention to his repeated request of the due.

Netizens are speculating that this could be because of the flop performance of these films. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue were bad performers both on box office and at the OTT platform.

After these two films failed to perform, Netflix terminated the contract for showing Hero No. 1 on the platform. Trolls laughed the whole matter off by saying who would pay for a flop show.
