Dhruva Sarja’s Martin has been in the headlines ever since the first look came out last year. It was expected to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2024.
However, the box office results turned out to be something else where the action drama has hardly managed to recover its budget so far. But apart from this, various YouTubers were targeted for sharing their opinion about the film.

The owners of certain channels have addressed their disappointment after giving negative reviews for Martin. Most of the YouTubers took to different social media platforms, saying that they won’t review any other Kannada films in the future.
Film critic Anmol Jamwal wrote on X that he would take an exception for the “Shetty trio” that includes Raj, Rishab, and Rakshit.

Suraj Kumar, who is known for his entertaining content, said that he has allegedly received threatening messages. He added that he has always supported Kannada films and went to Bengaluru to watch them on a few occasions.
Another social media star Sudhakar Gowda said that he had properly explained his reasons for not liking the film. However, Sudhakar had to approach the police station after receiving threat calls for the same.

Sudhakar claimed that the cops reportedly refused to file a complaint and told him to call 112. However, the complaint was received a day later.
While Martin has mostly received a negative reaction, a section of the public has still praised it. The ongoing issue related to threat messages has been a part of fan wars where certain organizations get actively involved in promoting their favorite actors.
It remains to be seen if the negative reviews will lead to any other problems in the upcoming days.
