Stree 2 has finally made its OTT debut on Amazon Prime after a resounding success in theatres. People who had not yet watched the “blockbuster” movie were excited to watch it from the comfort of their homes.
But it seems that Stree 2 has catastrophically failed to capture the hearts of its OTT audience. Many viewers have found the movie to be dull and unengaging, and have taken to social media to express their opinions.

Several comments on X (formerly Twitter) have revealed that people could not even sit through half an hour of the movie. The movie is being given labels such as “no spark”, “boring”, and “naa sar naa pair” on X, with some giving it a brutal rating of 0/10.
As far as it comes to filling up the huge shoes of its predecessor, Stree 2 seems to have fallen extremely short of expectations.

But the massive desert of criticisms also has an oasis of praises. Some people have also taken to social media to defend and praise the movie. One user said to the criticism that everyone was entitled to their own opinions.
He added, “But if someone watches a movie just by seeing its high collection with a negative perspective about the movie from the beginning, then they are definitely not going to enjoy the movie.”

While the praises for the OTT release fall short of the criticisms, the audience has already given its verdict in the theatres. Stree 2 was declared a Blockbuster even before it was released on OTT, which sheds light on the contrastingly different perspectives of the conventional and the OTT audience.
