Bigg Boss Telugu TV show entered the 9th week of its 8th edition. The house is left with six members from the OG clan, and then, there are seven members from the Royals. Interestingly, the entire nominations segment occurred with Mega chief Vishnupriya picking the people. However, she failed miserably in filing the proper nominations, resulting in huge criticism, especially from her clan.
Vishnupriya was considered the title favorite when the season started. However, with each week passing, she failed to put an impressive game in the house. Many nominated her that she has no ambition, aspiration, or the intent to stay in the house. Some said that she is surviving in the house only to support Pruthviraj Shetty, and there is no other reason. Even her selection of Mega chief has also been subjected to criticism.

When the time arrived, Vishnupriya nominated five contestants, and the reasons she gave were silly, unworthy, and did not have any merit.
1. Gautham Krishna:
Vishnu nominated Gautham for the reason that he threw Mike when he came to the house during the comedy task. Gautham has crossed that stage. A couple of people have nominated him already, and everyone has moved on. Vishnu cited that since she did not get to nominate him then, she is doing it now, which is silly.

2. Tasty Teja
Despite Teja receiving praise for his performance, he was nominated for the reason that he displayed disrespect towards the Sanchalak. Nag himself confirmed that Nikhil could have done a better job as the Sanchalak in the deciding round of the quiz task. Teja also openly agreed that he used a strategy to divert Prerana. Even after that, Vishnu picked him for nomination.
3. Prerana
Vishnu nominated Prerana just because she gave her a fake friend tag. Vishnu also cited that Prerana displayed selfishness by not giving Bajjis to others in the house. It is again a silly reason.

4. Nayani Pavani
Vishnu nominated Nayani that she did not play the games well and her visibility so far is less. In fact, Vishnu did not play the games well but has become a mega chief which she forgot. Nayani tried to defend herself but Vishnu does not have points that would make sense.
5. Nabeel
The most disappointing nomination is of Nabeel. Vishnu nominated Nabeel just because the fire in him has come down. However, he argued that because of the fire he had, Vishnu has become the mega chief. At one point, Vishnu also agreed that she do not have points to nominate Nabeel but had to do it.
The entire OG clan ganged against Vishnu for nominating two of them. Vishnu argued that she became mega chief with the support of both the clans. But, the OG clan reminded Vishnu of the fact that the Royals would have chosen someone from their clan had there been anyone left in the end, if not Nikhil. They even told that just because of their selection, she became contender and eventually the mega chief.
There was a swapping task through which the remaining housemates saved some and nominated others.
In the end, the nominated contestants are: Tasty Teja, Nayani Pawani, Yashmi Gowda, Gautham Krishna and Hariteja.
