Bigg Boss Season 8: Prerana Becomes Scapegoat

After the Diwali festive episode, the Saturday episode started off with Nagarjuna playing the footage from Friday. It was mostly a casual day where Avinash humorously punished housemates Nabeel, Yashmi, Prudhvi, and Nikhil, who had slept during the assigned time. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna started interacting with the housemates, criticizing them for the mistakes they had made. He schooled Prerana for the words she used against Nayani and Nikhil.

This was a shock for Prerana and her fans because, compared to other housemates, whatever she had done this week was not that concerning. Just last week, she received a good song from Sameera Bharadwaj, and even Hyper Aadi praised her for her gameplay. Right when her graph was high, she was criticized. The same thing happened with Gowtham.
Audiences were developing interest in Gowtham’s gameplay because of how he was portraying himself in the house.

However, he was heavily criticized for his issue with Nikhil, which might have impacted his morale. It remains to be seen how this will affect Gowtham in the coming days. Meanwhile, Nikhil, who was the most aggressive and cruel in this week’s tasks, wasn’t criticized much by host Nagarjuna.

Audiences felt that the host is biased towards Nikhil. Later, he was highly appreciated for winning the tasks. The same level of appreciation was not given to his teammates Avinash and Hari Teja. One appreciable thing is that Yashmi received a reality check from the audience, as they pointed out that she is flipping too much and crying whenever her mistakes are exposed. The likes of Teja, Rohini, and Prudhvi were appreciated for their gameplay.

In the end, Teja was saved from the elimination among the nominated contestants. However, people have opined that cornering Prerana despite her giving her best in this week’s task has been a big blunder by the show’s management. If the makers are listening, they would adjust their approach appropriately. Otherwise, it may dent the credibility of the show.
