The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season is set to begin on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru at their home ground.
Telugu fans have plenty to cheer about this IPL, with Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam getting multiple matches. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play their first game on March 23 at Uppal against Rajasthan Royals.

While last season’s matches in Vizag were due to venue issues in Delhi, this time, the city has been included in the schedule despite no such concerns, showing its growing importance as an IPL host.

On March 23, last year’s runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Rajasthan Royals at Uppal, while Chennai Super Kings will host Mumbai Indians in a high-voltage Sunday clash. The tournament begins 12 days after the Champions Trophy concludes.
The final is scheduled for May 25 in Kolkata.
