The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been nothing but phenomenal during this season, dominating their way through the tournament to ultimately make their way into the playoffs.

In 2021, although RCB made it to the playoffs, they were denied a position in the top 2 due to a defeat in their second last league game against SRH.

Be it the 2009 finals, 2016 finals, 2020 eliminator or 2021 chances for the top 2, SRH and the Deccans have put a kind of spell on RCB, making sure it never wins such games.
It seems that fate is set to repeat the same action, as RCB is once again going to face SRH for their 2nd last league stage game, making matters all the more interesting.
With RCB resuming the game after 20 days without Hazelwood, and Phil Salt having shown his might a whopping 40 days ago, along with shadows still being cast on Tim David’s presence, one begins to ask whether this is the final game where RCB must secure a win to decide their course for the rest of the season.
Will RCB be able to overcome their bad luck to finally break the trend, or will SRH maintain their weird dominance to disappoint Kohli & Co. yet again? We’ll have to wait and see.
