Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo was released in 2004 and directed by Anil Sharma. The star cast of the film was not what had been planned originally.
As the film marks 20 years of its release, netizens wonder if it could have been one of the biggest Bollywood releases ever. It had Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and Bobby Deol in lead roles.

And introduced fresh faces like Divya Khosla Kumar and Sandali Sinha. Both of them didn’t do great in the industry, but you may still see Divya in some low-key films due to her family ties with T Series.
But the makers originally wanted to cast SRK, Aishwarya and Priyanka in lead roles. But fortunately for them they refused to be a part of this film.

Fans feel that it was the right choice as the film was an absolute disaster with a lethargic storyline. But some argued that maybe their stardom could have saved the project.
Filled with patriotism and family drama tropes the film didn’t work well. However, it has received some attention on OTT but it remains an all time flop.
