BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) took the internet by storm when Krafton, the game maker, in the announcement, said that the game would be available for download in India soon. Since then, the gaming fraternity is speculating about its launch and availability on Android and iOS. While the official word does not hint at a release timeline, one of the top gaming influencers has leaked the launch date of BGMI.
Here are all the details about the potential relaunch date, download guide and more.
BGMI Unban Date
Krafton has assured the potential players of BGMI that the game will make a comeback soon. However, a media report claims that Kronten, GodLike Esports owner, said that BGMI would relaunch in India in the next four to five days. This implies that the game could be made available for download in the last week of May (somewhere between 21-25 May), as per the YouTuber. Kronten Gaming has over 2 million subscribers on YouTube.
BGMI Update: What did Krafton India CEO say?
“We are excited to announce that BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA will be available for download soon and we cannot wait to welcome you back to our platform,” Sean Hyunil Sohn, KRAFTON India CEO, said.
BGMI Unban: What did the government say?
Following the ‘three-month trial’ window announced by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, IT minister, BGMI fans will finally witness the good old days of ravishing competition among friends. The three-month unban was approved after BGMI met server location and data security conditions. Moreover, the government will closely monitor the associated issues with the game including addiction, user harm and more, before making a final decision.
BGMI fans waiting to get their hands on the latest official build will soon be pacified with its release. Battlegrounds Mobile India will release on Google Play Store for Android users and on App Store for iOS devices. The download process remains the same as earlier by heading to the respective app store once the game is available.
Further, the progress and the account details will remain unchanged. Reports hint that the game could launch with time limitations and graphic tweaks inside the gameplay. For context, BGMI was banned by the government in India in July last year. The game titled maxed 100 million users shortly after its launch in the past. Finally, Krafton is gearing up for an official relaunch after more than ten months.
