Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay has requested the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman B.R. Naidu to expedite the construction of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Karimnagar, the ground-breaking ceremony of which was performed on May 31, 2023.
In a letter to the TTD Chairman, Mr. Sanjay, the BJP MP from Karimnagar, said: “Since the ‘bhoomi puja’ ceremony, held on 10 acres in Karimnagar last year, not a single step has been taken.”
“TTD’s efforts in spreading Dharma across the country and developing Hindu temples are commendable. It is a great initiative to support temples that can’t even afford basic offerings like dhupa, deepa and naivedyam,” he said.
“Permission for TTD temple construction in Karimnagar was granted in 2023. People of Karimnagar and surrounding districts are eagerly waiting for the TTD temple,” Mr. Sanjay said.
