A video from Hyderabad has gone viral, showing a fruit seller asking a Scottish tourist for ₹100 for a single banana. Adding to the number of scams foreigners suffer at the hands of us Indians.

The video was shared by Hugh, a travel vlogger exploring Indian street food, and has received 6.4 million views on Instagram.

In the video, Hugh tries to confirm the price multiple times in Hindi, but the vendor insists on ₹100. Realizing he was being overcharged, Hugh decided not to buy the banana and walked away.

Hugh, known for trying snacks like vada pav and jalebi, usually finds Indian vendors kind and fair. However, this unusual incident caught everyone’s attention.
