Shah Rukh Khan’s fans were eagerly waiting for Don 3’s announcement after Pathaan became a blockbuster. Unfortunately, Excel Entertainment’s decision to cast Ranveer Singh in the lead left everyone disappointed.
While Farhan Akhtar has hardly revealed anything about the upcoming sequel until now, the latest reports have claimed that the filming process would be delayed by a few more months and is starting in June next year.

The shooting was originally supposed to begin in January 2025 and the makers have not disclosed much about the reasons behind the delay.
Further updates on the same are currently awaited. Don 3 will also feature Kiara Advani as the female lead.

The upcoming sequel is facing a lot of roadblocks for some time. It seems like the makers are also not confident and even if it is made, the entire process is going to take several years.
The film’s bad luck started at the time when it was announced. SRK’s fans openly expressed their frustration behind Ranveer’s casting, with most of them saying that the latter can never match the level of SRK.

Considering that people are not so excited about Don 3, the film might eventually end up as a box office bomb, even if the producers spend 7-8 years making it.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is already going through a bad phase ever since Mukesh Khanna refused to cast him as Shaktimaan.
However, in this situation, netizens were in support of Ranveer since he had already met Mukesh at his office in the past.
Mukesh addressed the meeting in one of his conversations, saying that Ranveer spoke to him for two hours and that no one could enter his office and say that he wanted to play Shaktimaan.
