Attack Against Chandrababu Naidu: 3 Accused Arrested

There were several attacks on TDP leaders during YCP’s tenure in power. However, no investigations were conducted into these incidents, and the culprits were left unpunished by the then government.

Now, the government has changed and the TDP is back in power. Thus, the police officials are reopening these old cases and taking action against those who attacked TDP and JSP leaders.

Recently, the Nandigama police arrested three individuals who are believed to be involved in the stone-pelting attack on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in 2022.

On November 5, 2022, Chandrababu Naidu visited Nandigama. During his rally, while greeting people from his vehicle, a group of individuals reportedly cut off the streetlights and pelted stones at him. The incident occurred at Chandarlapadu near the Rythu Bazaar market in Nandigama.

As YCP was in power at the time, the case was kept aside and the culprits were let go free. Now, the police have restarted the investigation and taken the accused individuals, Kanikanti Sajjan Rao, Bezawada Karthik, and Parimi Kishore, into custody. They are currently being interrogated by the cops.
