Neeraj Chopra takes the field in the men’s javelin throw event in the absence of Pakistan rival Arshad Nadeem, who pulled out at the last minute.

    Lovlina Borgohain will also be looking to win a gold in the 75kg final. Elsewhere, PV Sindhu will be in action in a Round of 16 clash. The Indian men’s hockey team will also try and overcome a tricky South Korean team in the semis.
